This policy explains how returns and refunds are handled for purchases made through Cafe Noir Bookshop and through our partner platforms.
Returns for Coffee Purchased Directly from Cafe Noir Bookshop
Returns are accepted within 14 days of the delivery date. Products must be unopened, unused, and in original condition. Coffee must remain sealed. Items showing wear, tampering, or damage not caused during shipping may not qualify for a refund.
Reason for Return
We accept returns for items that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly different from what was ordered. We may request photos or additional information to verify the issue.
Process for Return
To initiate a return, email info@cafenoirbookshop.com with your order number and reason for the return. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.
Process of Refund
Refunds are issued once the returned item is received and inspected. Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment. Depending on your bank or payment provider, funds may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account. If a return is not approved, we will notify you with an explanation.
Returns for Books Purchased Through Bookshop.org
Bookshop.org handles all returns for shipped books fulfilled through Ingram’s Consumer Direct Fulfillment (CDF) service. Their policy allows returns within 30 days of receipt, with or without reason, so long as the item is in its original condition.
Damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped items may also be returned within 30 days. Shrink-wrapped or sealed items must remain unopened.
Digital books are generally not returnable. If there are issues using a digital title purchased, submit a ticket using: https://support.bookshop.org/en/support/tickets/new.
Refunds Requests for Audiobooks Purchased Through Llibro.fm
Audiobook purchases are managed entirely through Libro.fm. To request an audiobook refund:
You may submit a ticket to Libro.fm Customer Support or email hello@libro.fm. Be sure to include the audiobook title and, for pre-orders, the purchase date or purchase ID.
Refunds are issued based on the original payment method. If paid with a credit card, the refund returns to that card. If purchased using a membership credit, the credit returns to your Libro.fm account.
Libro.fm refund eligibility requires that:
• Refund requests must be made within six months of the original purchase date.
• Libro.fm may limit refunds to prevent policy misuse, such as excessive refund requests, repeated requests for mostly completed audiobooks, multiple simultaneous requests, or refunds for audiobooks that have been downloaded as MP3 files.

Order Processing
Orders placed directly through our website are processed within 2–3 business days. You will receive an order confirmation and a shipping notification once your items are on the way.
Coffee Shipments
All coffee is roasted fresh and shipped directly from our roasting partner in Tampa, Florida. Coffee orders may arrive separately from book or merchandise orders fulfilled through partner platforms.
Shipping Methods and Timeframes
We ship using USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days after processing, depending on the carrier and destination. Tracking details are provided when available.
Books and Audiobooks Fulfillment
Books purchased via Bookshop.org are shipped through Ingram’s Consumer Direct Fulfillment (CDF) service.
Audiobooks purchased through Libro.fm are delivered directly to the Libro.fm app and are not shipped physically.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and service selected.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate addresses. Orders returned due to incorrect information may require additional shipping costs.
Lost, Damaged, or Missing Packages
If your package arrives damaged or fails to arrive, contact us at info@cafenoirbookshop.com. Supporting photos or tracking details may be required.
International Shipping
We currently ship only within the United States.
